Melissa Wilkes is an associate attorney at National Litigation Law Group in Lafayette, IN. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University-Bloomington in Biochemistry and Psychology and her Juris Doctor from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University-Indianapolis. Melissa is licensed to practice law in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio and has experience in the areas of family law, estate planning, business law, complex litigation, consumer defense, and municipal law. In her more recent practice, Melissa specializes in consumer law specifically focusing on the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This is where she found her passion and desire to help consumers during times of extreme financial distress. She understands that financial hardship can weigh heavily on a person physically and emotionally, so she strives to do what she can to help alleviate those burdens. At NLLG, Melissa continues to focus on helping all of her clients and will provide compassionate, legal counsel.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family (her husband, four children, and dog, Pepper), hanging out with friends, watching movies, scrap-booking, traveling, swimming, and shopping.
